For limited resources, the steps proposed for the implementation of this element are:
- Information collection and transfer to the government by producers and importers, including identification and substantiation of CBI claims and (optional) fees. Use an electronic template for the information.
- Assessment of completeness of the information received including review of CBI substantiation claims made and storage of selected information in a standalone computer or a National Database, if available, including public dissemination of the non-CBI and protection of CBI during use.
