The information and material produced for Awareness Raising is made available to the target groups. The awareness of decision makers about problems with industrial chemicals provided through Information/Data collected by the management system and about the benefits from managing them safely could increase the will Ensuring Adequate Resources for the management system by decision makers. Raising awareness for the public could increase the public support for a management system for industrial chemicals, and could raise the attention of the public that chemicals can be hazardous and that one needs to be careful when using them. Raising the awareness of industry and especially on the aim of the framework and of their responsibilities and obligations under the legislation could facilitate the compliance of companies with the obligations. Education/Training of the Public and Workers could complement and strengthen the awareness raising activities.
