The tool aims to provide technical training for the implementation of the Convention and includes (i) an overview of the obligations and operational procedure of the Convention (ii) an introduction to the standard forms to be completed; and (iii) in-depth discussions on specific issues. Case studies are also provided.

Information provided is useful to support environmental health decision making regarding pesticides and the Rotterdam Convention and can be used to guide the work of governments in becoming a Party to the Convention.
