The Environmental Health Criteria document provides an overview of the methodologies used for human exposure assessment and data analysis. Chapter 7 discusses the measuring of human exposure to chemicals in air, water and food. Chapter 8 focuses on human exposure to chemical contaminants in soil and dust. Chapter 12 provides case scenarios of exposure studies.

Why this Tool/Guidance?

The EHC monograph is intended to assist national and international authorities in making risk assessments and subsequent risk management decisions. It provides information on the methods used to assess exposure.
