ILO: Work Improvement in Neighbourhood Development (WIND) (2005)

Description:

This is a training programme on safety, health and working conditions in agriculture. It provides practical responses to the special problems of agricultural safety and health. Building on the ILO's experience gained through the WISE (Work Improvement in Small Enterprises) programme, WIND applies a participatory and action-orientated training approach, designed for rapid and sustainable improvements in Farmers' safety, health and working conditions. The WIND methodology has a good record of promoting equality of participation of men and women in rural communities.
