Why this Tool/Guidance?

The guidance is intended to help government authorities to strengthening the regulation and oversight of household pesticides and on educating the general public about effective pest and pesticide management in and around the home in order to reduce the risks associated with their usage by non-professionals. It may equally be useful to the pesticide industry and nongovernmental organizations.
