Participate in training on chemical safety in the workplace
Training should include information on:
- The classification and labelling of chemicals and on chemical safety data sheets.
- The risks which may arise from the use of hazardous chemicals in the course of their work.
- The prevention and control of risks, including correct methods of storage, transport and waste disposal, as well as emergency and first aid measures.
- The correct and effective use of the control measures, in particular the engineering control measures and measures for personal protection provided.
- Work systems and practices for safety in the use of chemicals in the workplace.
