Occupational safety and health (OSH) management and risk assessment
To effectively control OSH risks and prevent occupational accidents and diseases due to hazardous chemical exposures, employers should establish a sound OSH management system as an integral part of their overall business management. They include a set of actions and processes that establish, monitor and evaluate the organization’s efforts to keep workers safe and healthy, and comply with national laws. Active participation of workers is key for the successful implementation of OSH regulations for the sound management of chemicals in the workplace.
