Disposal
Waste hazardous chemicals and their containers should be handled or disposed of in a manner which eliminates or minimizes the risk to health and to the environment, in accordance with national law and practice.
Employers should work with national authorities to ensure that they are disposing of waste chemicals in the appropriate manner. They should:
- Follow applicable rules for disposal of hazardous waste and guidance
- Utilize recording systems (inventory) and storage for hazardous waste
- Use disposal facilities for hazardous waste
