This section of the Toolbox provides the user with information, including risk management recommendations for a number of chemicals or groups of chemicals which are of major public health concern.
Many of the chemicals presented here can, when properly used, significantly contribute to the improvement of our quality of life, health and well-being. However they can negatively affect our health and environment when improperly managed. Others are unwanted by-products developed during chemical processes.
