Description:
IARC monographs identify and evaluate environmental factors that can increase the risk of human cancer. The monograph provides background information on cadmium including (i) environmental occurrence; (ii) uses; and (iii) occupational and non-occupational human exposure data. A summary and evaluation of the evidence for the carcinogenicity of cadmium using human and experimental animal data is also given.
