Data Sharing

Data sharing, and the avoidance of unnecessary testing, involves requirements based on legislation where owners of experimental data produced using animals are required to share these data with other companies who are also obliged to submit these data to the government to avoid unnecessary animal testing. The user of the data has to compensate the owner of the data for (part of) the expenses to produce the data.

For a limited resource implementation, your country could:

  1. Use other countries’ laboratories or national commercial laboratories funded by donor countries.
